Distribution Manager Docs

Distribution Manager is web-based. Salespersons in the field use it from their smartphone. The office dashboard works best on a desktop browser.

Go to Routes → Add Route. Name the route (e.g. Kandy North), add the stops in order, and assign a default salesperson and vehicle. Routes can be run daily or on specific days of the week.

Go to Products → Add Product. Enter the product name, unit, and pricing tiers (different prices for different customer categories). Products are linked to stock in the warehouse.

Go to Routes → Start Route. Select the route and date. Create a Loading Order to record which products and quantities are being loaded onto the van. This sets the van's opening stock for the day.

During the route, the salesperson opens a customer from the route list and records the sale. Stock is deducted from the van inventory in real time. Payment can be recorded as cash, cheque, or credit.

At the end of the day, go to Routes → Close Route. The system shows a reconciliation: opening stock vs sales vs returns vs closing stock. Any discrepancies are flagged.
